Registered Nurse (RN) | Case Manager Location: Rapid City, SD Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,648 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/2/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse - Case Management Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Case Management Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8 Hour Variable Hours per Shift: 40 Experience: Minimum 1.5 years general nursing required License: Registered Nurse (RN) - State Board of Nursing Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Previous discharge planning experience - Acute Care Case Management experience - Experience meeting with families and discussing plans of care Description: Case Managers provide care for patients in all acute care departments. The RN Case Manager will likely remain in the same area during their contract, pending new hires. Typically, travelers are not required to float to multiple areas during their contract. Patient ratio is 1 Case Manager to 16-20 patients. Support on the unit includes Case Management Assistants, Lead Case Managers, Social Work Complex Psychosocial patient consultants, and Utilization Review RNs. Charting system used is EPIC. Staffing support during weekend shifts includes 3 RN Case Managers, 1 Social Worker, 1 Lead Case Manager, 1 Case Manager Assistant, and 1 Utilization Review Nurse. There is no on-call schedule required. Holiday expectations include 2 out of 4 major holidays. Time off requests will be approved for up to 7 days, with extensions needed for any full week off.
