Job Description:
At Good Samaritan Health Center, we are dedicated to providing
exceptional healthcare services with a focus on holistic health and
wellness outcomes in underserved communities. We are currently
seeking a Certified Medication Assistant to join our Assisted
Living team. This role is vital in ensuring that all our residents
receive timely and correct medication administrations according to
physician orders, fostering their health and overall wellbeing. The
ideal candidate will be empathetic, detail-oriented, and committed
to promoting the health and safety of our residents. Administer
daily medications to residents as per physician’s orders. Document
all medication administrations, noting times and any adverse
reactions. Monitor residents for side effects and report as
necessary to healthcare providers. Assist in updating residents'
medication lists and managing medication stocks. Educate residents
about proper medication usage and storage. Maintain compliance with
all state and federal regulations regarding medication
administration. Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure a
holistic approach to resident care. Strong organizational and
observation skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills. Proficiency in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
Knowledge of medication administration procedures and regulations.

Valid CPR and First-Aid certifications.
