TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Oncology RN in Rapid City, South Dakota, 57701! Pay Information $2,590 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse - Oncology Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Medical Oncology - Infusion Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8 Hour Days Hours per Shift: 40 Experience: Minimum of 1.5 years of nursing experience License: Registered Nurse (RN) Certifications: - BLS - Chemo certification for infusion clinic - OCN preferred, but not required Must-Have: Chemo certification Description: Must have chemotherapy certification. The position is for an outpatient clinic. Travelers must live more than 100 miles away from the facility. Permanent staff must wait one full year to return as a traveler. Patients will be seen in the medical oncology/chemotherapy infusion setting. Skills required include chemotherapy infusion, chart checks, rooming patients, taking vital signs, checking weight, reviewing systems, and medication reconciliation. Support on the unit includes a charge nurse and resource nurse. No phlebotomy or IV/VAT team support is available. Physician and ARNP are present in the clinic. Charting system used is Epic. Med dispensing system is Omnicell. There is no floating to other units. Orientation will take place in the department. There is no weekend rotation or on-call duties. Holiday expectations are not applicable. Approval of time off is allowed.
