Job Title: CT/X-ray Technologist Profession: Diagnostic Imaging

Minimum 1 year License: Required Credential: R.T.(R)(ARRT)
Certifications: None listed Must-Have: 1 year experience working as
a CT or X-Ray technologist. Description: The CT/X-ray Technologist
performs diagnostic radiographic procedures in accordance with
approved techniques and standards. Produce emergent and routine
diagnostic images with fixed and portable X-ray equipment. Produce
routine and emergent diagnostic images with the CT Room. Ability to
adjust exposure settings for proper image acquisition. Adjust
patient positioning to acquire the best images based on anatomical
structures. Adjust table and radiation beam to minimize radiation
exposure for maximum patient protection. Process images in PACS for
the Radiologist. Complete exams per Radiologist protocols. Document
and process exams with electronic medical records. Schedule
patients for appointments in various imaging modalities. Inform and
assist patients with contrast media administration for CT exams.
Involved with quality control concerning equipment, radiation
safety, and patient safety. Ensure that exams are completed in a
timely and correct manner. Provide excellent customer service to
patients and staff.
