Job Description: Connected Health Care, a premier recruitment and
staffing firm, is currently seeking an experienced Travel RN – Med
Surg/ED for a critical access hospital in rural South Dakota. This
facility plays a vital role in the community, and they're seeking a
dynamic and adaptable RN to support their mission of providing
high-quality care to a diverse patient population.
Responsibilities: - Deliver patient-centered care in both Med Surg
and Emergency settings - Triage patients and initiate appropriate
nursing interventions - Administer medications, treatments, and
procedures as prescribed - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
to coordinate patient care - Document all nursing assessments,
interventions, and outcomes accurately - Respond to emergency
situations using advanced critical thinking skills Requirements: -
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – South Dakota or Compact -
Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Med Surg and/or Emergency
Room - Current BLS and ACLS certifications required - TNCC, PALS,
or additional certifications preferred - Strong clinical judgment
and the ability to adapt to rural/critical access environments
Contract Details: - 13-week assignment with potential for extension
- Day or Night shifts available (3x12s or 4x10s) - Competitive
