Job Description Job Description Salary: $17.59 POSITION: Direct Support Assistant (DSA)/ Direct Support Professional (DSP) PROGRAM AREA: Monitored Residential Homes POSITION OPENS: 4/10/2024. Northern Hills Training Center (NHTC) is seeking part-time. Would you like to support individuals to lead self-directed & meaningful lives? Are you looking for 12-24 hours a week to fill a void and make additional income? This may be the job for you! POSITION DESCRIPTION: Provide in-home, direct support to people with Developmental Disabilities. Job duties include: Supporting people in becoming a part of their community. Implementing and teaching individual support programs. Identifying peoples training needs and preferences in collaboration with team members. Supporting peoples daily routine activities, such as appearance and hygiene. Supporting peoples medical needs, such as medication administration and diet support. Supporting people to obtain personal outcomes. QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Must be well organized and able to work with minimal supervision. HOURS: Minimum of 16 hours per week & up. WAGES: $16.59 per hour base pay for Direct Support Assistant/ $17.59 per hour pay for Direct Support Professional BENEFITS: Dental & Vision Insurance. 401k Retirement is available to all employees.
