South Dakota State University seeks a full-time Simulation and
Learning Lab Technician at our College of Nursing Rapid City site.
This position will provide the learning lab and simulation
technology support necessary to complete the mission of the college
and meet accreditation standards. This is a 12 month, full-time,
benefit-eligible position. This position is supervised by the
Healthcare Simulation Center Director.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Sponsorship is not
available for this position.
SDSU is especially interested in candidates who can contribute
to and/or coordinate course offerings that address the experiences

- Four-year college degree in Nursing, Computer Science,
Information Technology, or health-related field preferred, however
candidates with at least 8 years of directly related comparable
health field experience (EMT, paramedic) without a four-year degree
will be considered;

- Demonstrated organizational and time management skills;

- Valid driver's license, or ability to obtain one within 30 days
of hire, and willingness to travel.
- Bachelor's prepared nurse with South Dakota RN licensure or
eligible for South Dakota RN licensure;
- Previous experience working in a Simulation Lab;
- CHSOS or CHSE Certified;
