Seeking a BE/BC Interventional Cardiologist with training in peripheral vascular interventions to join our cardiovascular practice in Rapid City, South Dakota! Highlights: Group offers a full spectrum of cardiovascular care Collegial, physician-led, and hospital-supported group of Cardiologists Ideal candidate would provide patient-centered, high-quality cardiovascular care in both the inpatient and the outpatient settings Serves a five-state region with a catchment area of 428,000 2 fully functional hybrid suits, 2 dedicated Cath labs, 2 EP labs, vascular hybrid OR (in construction) Active and robust cardiovascular clinical research program with opportunities for involvement in 40-50 cardiovascular research studies at any given time. The program has successfully participated in over 300 trials to date. Our site consistently ranks in the top 10% for enrollment and performance metrics Duties include: Outpatient cardiology and peripheral vascular disease consultation Inpatient cardiology and peripheral vascular consultation with generous hospitalist/intensivist support Interpretation of echocardiographic studies (including TEE as able), cardiac stress testing, and arterial/venous Duplex studies Complex Coronary Intervention Strong training and/or clinical experience treating coronary artery disease with advanced percutaneous coronary intervention techniques Peripheral Vascular Peripheral Vascular fellowship training and/or clinical experience Eligibility for RPVI certification and experience with endovenous ablation would also be desirable, but is not required Clinical Responsibilities: Duties are divided equally amongst the Interventional Cardiologists, including Interventional and Vascular Interventional call. With the exception of one weekend day when on the Inpatient Rotation, the Interventional cardiologists do not take General Cardiology Call In-house nocturnal APP support for night call coverage Approximate weeknight call coverage is 1 in 5 with week-long inpatient rotation approximately 1 in 8 weeks Alternating 2-physician day-call/rounds coverage during inpatient rotation with robust inpatient APP support Dedicated read days for interpreting inpatient and outpatient cardiac studies Minimum expected daily clinic volume once fully integrated is 16 patients per day Compensation/Benefits: Two-year income base salary guarantee Quarterly productivity bonus opportunity Full production opportunity from day one (no partnership track) Generous and flexible time off Paid CME, licensure, and malpractice insurance/tail coverage Relocation and moving allowance Medical, dental, life, vision, and disability insurance Retirement plans including 403(b) with some company matching and company funded 457(b) Personal office with dedicated nurse and APP for clinical support No state income tax!
