Job Description Seeking a BE/BC Interventional Cardiologist with training in peripheral vascular interventions to join our cardiovascular practice in Rapid City, South Dakota! Highlights: - Group offers a full spectrum of cardiovascular care - Collegial, physician-led, and hospital-supported group of Cardiologists - Ideal candidate would provide patient-centered, high-quality cardiovascular care in both the inpatient and the outpatient settings - Serves a five-state region with a catchment area of 428,000 - 2 fully functional hybrid suits, 2 dedicated Cath labs, 2 EP labs, vascular hybrid OR (in construction) - Active and robust cardiovascular clinical research program with opportunities for involvement in 40-50 cardiovascular research studies at any given time. - The program has successfully participated in over 300 trials to date. - Our site consistently ranks in the top 10% for enrollment and performance metrics Duties include: - Outpatient cardiology and peripheral vascular disease consultation - Inpatient cardiology and peripheral vascular consultation with generous hospitalist/intensivist support - Interpretation of echocardiographic studies (including TEE as able), cardiac stress testing, and arterial/venous Duplex studies - Complex Coronary Intervention - Strong training and/or clinical experience treating coronary artery disease with advanced percutaneous coronary intervention techniques - Peripheral Vascular - Peripheral Vascular fellowship training and/or clinical experience - Eligibility for RPVI certification and experience with endovenous ablation would also be desirable, but is not required Clinical Responsibilities: - Duties are divided equally amongst the Interventional Cardiologists, including Interventional and Vascular Interventional call. - With the exception of one weekend day when on the Inpatient Rotation, the Interventional cardiologists do not take General Cardiology Call - In-house nocturnal APP support for night call coverage - Approximate weeknight call coverage is 1 in 5 with week-long inpatient rotation approximately 1 in 8 weeks - Alternating 2-physician day-call/rounds coverage during inpatient rotation with robust inpatient APP support - Dedicated read days for interpreting inpatient and outpatient cardiac studies - Minimum expected daily clinic volume once fully integrated is 16 patients per day Compensation/Benefits: - Two-year income base salary guarantee - Quarterly productivity bonus opportunity - Full production opportunity from day one (no partnership track) - Generous and flexible time off - Paid CME, licensure, and malpractice insurance/tail coverage - Relocation and moving allowance - Medical, dental, life, vision, and disability insurance - Retirement plans including 403(b) with some company matching and company funded 457(b) - Personal office with dedicated nurse and APP for clinical support - No state income tax!
