The ideal candidate will assist in the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a physician. Prepare patients for examination and treatment including taking medical histories and vital signs, explaining treatment procedures, and preparing equipment and facilities. Administer injections, medications, and perform routine laboratory tests as directed by the physician. Handle administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, billing, and coding information for insurance purposes. Assist in patient education and advocacy, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care. Manage supplies and ensure compliance with infection control protocols to maintain a safe and effective work environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills Proficient in clinical procedures and medical terminology Ability to operate medical equipment Capability to maintain accurate patient records and documentation Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced environment Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) from the American Association of Medical Assistants Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 6 months of hire
