Job Description Seeking a BE/BC Advanced Heart Failure and
Transplant Specialist or Cardiologist to join our team of
exceptional cardiologists at our nationally awarded cardiovascular
program. Group has grown into the area’s largest group of
cardiovascular specialists providing services to Rapid City and
neighboring communities throughout the region. With a team of
board-certified physicians, skilled support staff and excellent
facilities, it is able to offer a full spectrum of cardiovascular
care including diagnostic services, cardiovascular research and a
nationally accredited laboratory all in one convenient location.
The facilities house two cardiac and vascular surgical suites, two
cath labs, and a hybrid suite with state-of-the-art imaging and
equipment. This team of caregivers has been recognized nationally
by receiving the 2016 Mission: Lifeline® Receiving Center Bronze
Plus Recognition and the 2016 National Cardiovascular Data Registry
(NCDR) ACTION – Registry – GWTG Platinum Performance Awards, the
4th year in a row – signifying our system is among the best in the
nation in following treatment guidelines proven to increase
survival rates and reduce readmission rates for heart attack and
heart failure! The team consists of a Heart Failure and Transplant
Cardiology physician, a dedicated team of Heart Failure nurse
practitioners, Heart Failure outpatient nurses, and an inpatient
Heart Failure educator/coordinator that have all completed HFSA
courses with the most updated guidelines for heart failure. We also
offer dedicated Heart Failure inpatient services, Heart Failure
outpatient services with a very collegial electrophysiology and/or
structural team (Mitra clip, TAVR and tri-clip), cardiac MRI,
mechanical circulatory support, ECMO, and we are currently in the
process of building our own destination therapy LVAD program.
