Cynet Health to find a qualified OR RN in Rapid City, South Dakota,

or 2 trauma experience License: Registered Nurse Certifications:
BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Experience in Ortho-Trauma, Neuro, General,
and Robotics surgical procedures Description: This position is for
a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room on night shifts. The
scheduled shifts will run Thursday to Saturday for 12 hours each
night. The surgical services unit includes 12 operating rooms with
varied case loads. Experience in Level 1 or 2 trauma is required.
Candidates must not have any conflicts, as first-time travelers are
not accepted. Travelers must reside more than 100 miles from the
facility. Permanent staff must wait one full year to return as
travelers. Patient types include surgical cases in urology, neuro,
ortho, robotic, general, podiatry, and ENT. Pre- and post-recovery
phases include some ICU-level care as needed. Patient ratios are
1:1 in the OR, and 1:2 in Pre-Op and PACU Phase II, varying based
on acuity. Required skills include surgical experience in a
tertiary care center and pre-op/PACU experience with ICU skills.
Support on the unit includes a mix of surgical staff roles. The
charting system used is EPIC; experience is preferred. RNs may
float as needed across Pre-Op, PACU, or floor areas. There is a
weekend rotation, ideally including one overnight call per week and
every third weekend. There may be expectations for holiday coverage
around major holidays. Time off requests should be communicated to
