Assist in the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a physician. Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations, keeping the environments sterile and equipped. Perform basic diagnostic procedures and record patient information such as vital signs, weight, and height. Collect, prepare, and log blood, tissue, or other laboratory specimens. Administer medication as directed by a physician. Schedule appointments, manage patient records, and handle billing and bookkeeping. Educate and advise patients on basic health maintenance and disease prevention. Strong clinical skills and knowledge of healthcare protocols. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to operate medical equipment. Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems. Capacity to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire or within a specified timeframe.
