Job Description:
Sanford Health is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join
our Ambulatory team, an integral part of one of the largest health
systems in the United States. At Sanford Health, we pride ourselves

facilities. This role offers the unique opportunity to support the
health and wellness of patients in an outpatient setting, focusing
on preventative care, chronic disease management, and patient
education. Assist healthcare professionals in the delivery of
outpatient services. Prepare patients for examination and treatment
by taking patient histories and vital signs. Administer injections,
medications, and perform routine laboratory tests. Guide patients
by providing relevant health information and counseling. Maintain
safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing and
following standards and procedures in compliance with legal
regulations. Handle administrative duties such as scheduling
appointments and maintaining medical records in accordance with
established protocols. Strong organizational and interpersonal
skills Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) software
Ability to perform clinical tasks including injections and EKGs
Excellent communication skills for effective patient interactions
Capability to handle a fast-paced environment Medical Insurance
Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certification
as a Medical Assistant (CMA) preferred Certification in Basic Life
Support (BLS), or ability to obtain within first three months of
employment
