Job Title Registered Nurse - PCU City/State: Rapid City, South Dakota Shift: 12 Hour Days, 07:00 to 19:00 Contract Length: 12 Weeks Start Date: 03/02/2026 Job Description: The Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) is responsible for providing safe and effective nursing care to a variety of patients including those with intermediate care acuity, surgical, ortho, neuro, spine, and general medical conditions. They will operate within a pod structure, handle telemetry-monitored patients, and work in collaboration with a supportive team. Responsibilities: Provide care for patients with intermediate/stepdown acuity. Assist in surgical and neuro/spine patient management. Perform wound care and telemetry monitoring. Administer medications and titrate infusions as necessary. Requirements: 1 year of nursing experience in Intermediate/Stepdown Level. EPIC experience required. BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
