Registered Nurse (RN) | Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Location: Rapid City, SD Agency: Thrive Staffing Pay: $2,498 to $2,692 per week Shift Information: Nights - 4 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/2/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse - ICU City/State: Rapid City, South Dakota Shift: 12 Hour Nights, 4x12 Nights, 19:00:00-07:00:00 Contract Length: 12.00-4, 89 Start Date: 03/02/2026 Job Description: The Registered Nurse in the ICU will care for complex ICU patients including those with surgical, medical, cardiac, neuro, and trauma conditions. Cardiac experience is preferred but not required. Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care to a variety of ICU patients, adjusting care based on acuity. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and assist in emergency situations. Requirements: Minimum of 2 years ICU experience excluding travel experience preferred. Must hold BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications. Epic experience and comfort with 48-hour work weeks required. South Dakota Board of Nursing RN license needed. Experience with Epic, IV medications, hemodynamic lines, ventilator management, and telemetry required.
