Description: The Registered Nurse in the NICU is responsible for
providing specialized care to neonates of all gestational ages in a
Level 3 NICU setting. The role involves managing various diagnoses
such as low birth weight, high-frequency ventilation, and total
body cooling. Responsibilities: Provide care for neonates with a
patient ratio of 1:1-1:4. Perform vent management, IV starts, chest
tubes, and IV medication titration. Collaborate with
multidisciplinary team including CNAs, charge nurses, and neonatal
specialists. Attend neonatal resuscitations and deliveries.
Requirements: Completion of a nursing education program approved by
a board of nursing. Registered Nurse (RN) license - South Dakota
Board of Nursing. Required certifications: BLS, NRP, PALS. STABLE
(preferred). Minimum 1.5 years of NICU experience, first-time
travelers with 2 years of experience considered. 5 Benefits of
