Sign-on bonus! Department Overview Our facility has been recently
updated to enhance the working environment. Position Summary The
Registered Nurse (RN) will employ the nursing process, which
includes assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and
evaluation, to deliver personalized nursing care to residents. This
role involves collaboration with residents, their families, and
interdisciplinary team members, including healthcare providers, to
plan, execute, and assess care. The RN will demonstrate proficiency
and operate within the full spectrum of nursing knowledge, adhering
to age and population-specific standards relevant to their clinical
setting. Responsibilities include caring for residents throughout
all stages of preventive care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and
treatment. The RN may take on the role of charge nurse, delegating
appropriate tasks to both licensed and unlicensed assistive
personnel, ensuring that these tasks align with job descriptions,
skill sets, resident care needs, and the competencies of those
delegated. Adequate support will be provided to ensure safe and
effective resident care and to address any care or service issues.
The RN will function within the guidelines and standards of nursing
practice as defined by the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative
Rules in the state of practice and licensure. Professional nursing
practice is grounded in the Scope and Standards of Practice and the
Code of Ethics for Nurses with Interpretive Statements as
established by the American Nurses Association. Qualifications
Graduation from a nationally accredited nursing program is
preferred, including institutions recognized by the Commission on
Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for
Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing
Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA). A
Bachelor’s Degree in nursing is preferred. Must possess an
unencumbered RN license from the State Board of Nursing in the
state where nursing practice occurs, or hold multistate licensure
if practicing in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state. Must obtain
and maintain necessary department-specific competencies and
