Overview Our facility features a modern building with robust
support systems in place. Position Summary The Licensed Practical
Nurse (LPN) is responsible for delivering professional nursing care
to residents of all ages in a long-term care setting, under the
guidance of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or
physician. The LPN will apply nursing principles relevant to the
clinical environment and demonstrate proficiency in nursing
practices. This role involves utilizing appropriate standards
tailored to the physical and psychosocial needs of residents as
outlined in their care plans. The LPN will: Conduct assessments and
administer medications or treatments as prescribed. Provide
technical assistance to healthcare professionals as necessary.
Document interactions with residents and track outcomes related to
care, medication, behavior, activities, and dietary needs.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with
residents, healthcare providers, and the community. Collaborate
effectively as part of an interdisciplinary care team. Communicate
clearly while ensuring the confidentiality of sensitive
information. Advise residents and their families on prevention and
treatment plans under the direction of a registered nurse or
physician. Utilize knowledge of resident education principles to
create self-care programs. Perform additional related duties as
assigned. Qualifications Applicants must: Have graduated from an
accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse,
with a preference for an Associate degree in practical nursing. If
the position requires IV therapy skills, candidates must have
completed a Board-approved AASPN program or an IV Therapy course
sanctioned by the North Dakota Board of Nursing. Have participated
in a pre-licensure nursing program that included supervised
clinical experience or possess at least 400 hours of experience as
an LPN in another facility. Additional education or training may be
required for specific roles. Hold an unencumbered LPN license from
the State Nursing Board and/or have multi-state licensure
privileges. Complete and maintain necessary department-specific
competencies and certifications, including annual continuing
education units (CEUs) and training requirements. Benefits Our
