Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is seeking a clinic RN with at least 1.5 years of experience and an active SD or compact license to support a busy gastroenterology department. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Work in a gastroenterology clinic within an outpatient setting - Patient types include those requiring GI procedure scheduling, referral triage, and education on upper and lower endoscopies - Daily duties include taking vitals, rooming, chart documentation, patient education, scheduling, and assisting providers with exams - 40 hours per week, 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday - No weekends, call, or holiday shifts required - Uses EPIC EMR; prior EPIC experience required - Expected to provide comprehensive support for GI patients from referral through post-procedure education - Orientation provided with a nurse supervisor - Collaborates with clinic RNs, LPNs, and providers - Navy blue scrubs required - Free parking is available onsite - First-time travelers are accepted - No local travelers permitted; candidates must live more than 100 miles from the facility - Approval for time off is based on manager review /n /n Requirements/n - Active RN license issued by SD or any compact state - Completion of an accredited nursing program - Minimum of 1.5 years of RN or LPN experience required - Current BLS certification - Prior GI/endoscopy clinic experience preferred - EPIC EMR proficiency required - Strong communication, care coordination, customer service, and organizational skills /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-648311.
