Requirements - Active RN License - Degree from accredited nursing
program - BLS Certifications - Eighteen months of recent experience
in an Acute Care Hospice setting - Other requirements to be

$1,000 Duties Responsibilities Hospice Nurses (RN) provide care for
terminally ill patients. They work with patients, their families
and other healthcare professionals during the final stages of life.
- Assess a patient's situation, as well as detect changes in
symptoms, health or pain, and will need to know when action is
necessary. - Administer medications, monitor vital signs and subtle
changes in a patient's health. - Remain sympathetic to a patient's
needs, and be able to deal with people in various states of pain,
trauma and tragedy. - Alleviate sudden symptoms of the disease’s
end phase. - Help relatives cope with the upcoming loss and provide
