Dakota, 57701! Travel PCU RN – Rapid City, SD ID: 353635 Start: Oct
6, 2025 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Both Days and Nights available
(12 Hours) Weekly Pay: $2,404 Gross (based on 36 hrs/week)
Location: Rapid City, South Dakota, 57701 Unit Details: 64 beds
across 2 floors (Ortho, Neuro, Surgical, MedSurg mix) Ratios: RN
1:4 (PCU and MedSurg), CNA 1:8 Patient Types: Post-surgical
(urology, bowel, abdominal), Ortho (joints, trauma), Neuro (CVA/TIA
interventions, seizures, tumors, craniotomies, spinal surgeries),
Medical (COPD, CHF, renal/hepatic failure, pneumonia, infections)
Pod staffing: 2 RNs 1 CNA for 8 patients Support: Dedicated charge
RN (non-patient load), flex nurse daily, RT, phlebotomy,
hospitalist, nurse clinician Orientation: 2 days classroom/unit
education online learnings 2 preceptor shifts on the unit
Scheduling: 36 hrs/week, 6-week schedules Weekend rotation: Up to 4
of 6 weekends (Fri–Sun) No mandatory call, but may be placed on
call if covering extra shifts Holiday RTO not accepted; must
request prior to offer Time off: 1.5 weeks max (must extend
contract for full 13 weeks) Blackout: Aug 1–18 annually (Sturgis

required Skills: Telemetry interpretation, trach care (no fresh
trachs), chest tubes, wound vac care, NG/JP drains, line management
(PICC/Midline/CVL/PIV), TPN/tube feeding, blood transfusions, drip
titration (Heparin, Insulin, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Levophed ?5 mcg)
