Registered Nurse (RN) | Labor & Delivery Location: Rapid City, SD Agency: Olaro Pay: $3,419 per week Shift Information: Rotating - 4 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Olaro to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Rapid City, South Dakota, 57701! Description We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Labor & Delivery Nurse to support expectant mothers through one of the most important moments of their lives. As an L&D RN, you will provide care throughout the childbirth process-from admission and active labor to delivery and postpartum stabilization-ensuring a safe and positive experience for both mother and baby. Responsibilities include monitoring fetal heart rates, administering medications, assisting with pain management (including epidurals), supporting natural and surgical deliveries, and responding to obstetric emergencies. You'll work closely with obstetricians, midwives, anesthesiologists, and pediatric teams to deliver coordinated, family-centered care. This specialty demands a calm presence, emotional resilience, and the ability to act quickly under pressure. You'll be an advocate, educator, and trusted partner to patients and families navigating labor and delivery. Experience with high-risk pregnancies, electronic fetal monitoring, and neonatal resuscitation is highly valued.
