Cynet Health to find a qualified OR RN in Rapid City, South Dakota,
57701! Job Title: Registered Nurse - OR Profession: Registered
Nurse Specialty: Surgical Services Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10
Hour Variable Hours per Shift: 40 Experience: Minimum 2 years of OR
Level 1 or 2 trauma experience License: Registered Nurse - State
Board of Nursing Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Completion of
a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing.
Experience in Orthopedic-Trauma, Neuro, General, and Robotic
surgeries. Skills in Pre-Operative and Post-Anesthesia Care with
ICU skillset required. Description: Interviews will consist of
initial screening followed by manager interviews. There are 12
operating rooms available, running Monday through Friday, from 0700
to 1500, tapering down throughout the day. The facility includes 20
Pre-Op bays and 14 PACU bays. Patient ratios will be 1:1 in the
operating room, 1:2 in Pre-Op, and vary in the PACU based on
acuity. PACU Phase I will have a 1:1 or 1:2 ratio, while PACU Phase
II will have a 1:2 to 1:3 ratio. Required certifications include
BLS and ACLS. Approval from management is required for time off
requests. Travelers must reside more than 100 miles from the
facility. Scrub colors will be provided. Floating may occur as
needed in Pre-Op, PACU, or the floor. Call is ideally one overnight
per week and every third weekend. Holiday expectations include
working 2 out of 4 major holidays. Facilities will provide sleep
