Registered Nurse (RN) | Oncology Location: Rapid City, SD Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,568 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 1/19/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Oncology RN in Rapid City, South Dakota, 57701! Job Title: Registered Nurse - Oncology Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Medical Oncology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10 Hour Days Hours per Shift: 40 Experience: Minimum of 1.5 years of nursing experience License: Registered Nurse Certifications: BLS required; OCN preferred, but not required Must-Have: - Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing - Experience with chart checks, rooming patients, vital signs, weight, review of systems check, and medication reconciliation - Ability to be trained in other supportive areas, including assisting physicians and referrals Description: This position is in an outpatient clinic. The typical number of patients seen per day is 15-25. Travelers must live more than 100 miles away from the facility. Permanent staff must wait one full year to return in a temporary capacity. Patients treated include those receiving medical oncology and chemotherapy infusion. Charge nurse support is available on the unit. There is a resource nurse present. Phlebotomy and respiratory therapy support are not applicable. The charting system utilized is Epic. Medication dispensing is handled via Omnicell. There is no expectation for weekend rotation. The position does not require on-call duties or holiday work. Time-off requests are subject to approval.
