Pay Information $2,998 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse - Cath Lab Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12 Hour Nights Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: 2 years minimum with experience in coronary, structural heart, complex PCI, and peripheral cases. First-time travelers may be accepted if they have extensive experience in the required areas. License: Registered Nurse license Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Critical patient assessment skills - Vasoactive and Sedation drug administration - Sterile technique - Air management - Laser and Lithotripsy Atherectomy - Cardiac Cath lab and Peripheral IV skills Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in the Cardiac Cath Lab. The candidate will work in a Level II Trauma Center. This role involves caring for patients with coronary artery disease, STEMI, cardiogenic shock, complex total occlusions, diagnostic Cath procedures, valvular disease, renal disease, carotid stenosis, limb salvage, and peripheral stenosis. The patient ratio will be 1:1. The candidate will be required to handle critical patient assessments and recognize and treat arrhythmias. Devices used will include IABP, Impella, Rotoblator, and Penumbra. Travelers must live more than 100 miles from the facility. Travelers will rotate on weekends every fourth weekend. On-call duties will be required 1-2 days per week from 1630 to 0600 and every fourth weekend from 1630 Friday to 0600 Monday.
