Must-Have: - EPIC experience - Comfortability to take MedSurg
assignments Description: This position is for an
Intermediate/Stepdown Level RN. It is a mixed acuity unit,
requiring proficiency in handling a variety of patient types.
Surgical cases include urology, bowel obstructions, and general
abdominal surgeries. Ortho patients will involve total joints,
ortho trauma, and minor fractures. Neuro/spine cases may consist of
CVA/TIA, seizures, brain tumors, and various surgical interventions
including laminectomies and fusions. General medical patients may
present with conditions such as cellulitis, COVID, pneumonia, and
renal failure. Wound care experience is also essential, including
wound debridement and telemetry monitoring. Patient ratios are
structured as 1 RN to 4 patients in PCU settings. CNA support will
be provided, with a ratio of 1 CNA to 8 patients. Floating to any
adult inpatient units may be required. Travelers should be prepared
for weekend rotations. RTO requests should be submitted prior to
the offer. Approval for time off is available under specified
conditions. Compliance with monthly audits is expected.
