Oncology Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Rapid City, South
Dakota. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Oncology -
Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours
per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel General
Information Beds: Outpatient clinic Minimum Experience: 1.5 years
of nursing experience – system requirement Will you accept a
first-time traveler? Yes Average of patients seen per day Travelers
must live >100 miles away from facility Permanent staff must
wait 1 full year to return as a traveler Patient Types: Medical
Oncology/Chemotherapy Infusion Required Certifications: RN: BLS and
chemo certification for infusion clinic OCN preferred, but not
required Required Education: RN: Completion of a nursing education
program that is approved by a board of nursing; Registered Nurse
(RN) - South Dakota Board of Nursing Skills required: RN:
Chemotherapy infusion, Chart checks, Rooming patients: VS, weight,
Review of systems check, medication reconciliation Support on the
Unit: CA Charge nurse: Yes Phlebotomy? N/A IV/VAT Team? N/A
Resource Nurse: Yes RT: N/A Physician and ARNP in clinic Charting
System/Equipment: Epic Med Dispensing: Omnicell Slate Healthcare
