Job Title: Registered Nurse - Hospice Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Client Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 8 Hour Days Hours per Shift: 40 Experience: Minimum 1.5 years of experience required License: Registered Nurse license Certifications: BLS; Valid Driver's License Must-Have: - Experience in home health and hospice - Ability to drive at night Description: Travelers must live more than 100 miles away from the facility. Permanent staff must wait one full year to return as a traveler. There are three primary field locations for this position. The area served will be discussed during the interview. Patient types include home health and hospice. The RN will approximately manage a case load of 20-25 patients. CNA support is provided to patients in their homes. Required skills for RN include: oasis, hospice philosophy, infection control practices, wound care, PICC line dressing changes, port access, IV infusions, drains, critical thinking skills, and catheter insertion. Required skills for CNA include the ability to drive at night. Charting system used is Epic Remote. Weekend rotation is every third weekend. On-call responsibilities are approximately one 12-hour call shift per week. Holiday work will be expected, to be discussed during the interview. Approval of time off is requested on contract. Scrub color is any color or business casual dress.
