qualified Wound/Ostomy RN in Rapid City, South Dakota, 57701! Pay
Information $3,210 per week About The Position Job Title:
Registered Nurse - Wound Care (Ostomy Certified) Profession:
Registered Nurse Specialty: Inpatient Wound Care Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Variable Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum of 2 years
in wound care required; 1 year experience accepted if prior wound
care experience available. License: Registered Nurse (RN) -
approved by nursing board Certifications: - BLS (required) - Wound
care certification (required) - Ostomy certification (CWOCN)
(required) Must-Have: - General wound care background is essential
- Experience with Wound Vacs, nurse level debridement, ABI
perfomance, and cast cutting Description: The position involves
providing wound care to a diverse patient population with various
wound types. Wound care patients include those with diabetic foot
wounds, vascular wounds, and pressure injuries. Patient care ratios
are typically 1 patient per hour, depending on the complexity of
the cases. Charting must be conducted using the EPIC system;
applicants without EPIC experience need approval. The role includes
potential floating from inpatient to outpatient settings.
Orientation for the unit lasts 1-2 weeks. Scheduling is Monday to
Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, with no nights, weekends, or major
holidays. The work environment is described as having a tight-knit,
