Details/n/n Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Long Term
Care for a 12 week travel assignment in Newcastle, Wyoming. As a

team. /n/nRequired Qualifications:/n/n /n/t - One year of recent
experience as an RN in a long-term care setting/n/t - Valid RN
license in compliance with state regulations/n/t - Current BLS
(AHA/ARC) or CPR certification/n /n/nPreferred Qualifications:/n/n
/n/t - ACLS Certification/n/t - Other certifications may be
required depending on facility requirements/n /n/nSummary:/n/n A
Registered Nurse (RN) in a long-term care (LTC) facility provides
skilled nursing care to residents, ensuring their health, comfort,
and well-being. RNs oversee patient care plans, administer
treatments, monitor for changes in condition, and collaborate with
healthcare teams to provide high-quality, resident-centered care.
They also play a key role in supervising nursing staff, educating
residents and families, and ensuring compliance with healthcare
regulations and facility policies. /n/nEssential Work
Functions:/n/n /n/t - Assess patient or resident health, monitor
for changes, and take appropriate action to ensure their
well-being/n/t - Develop, update, and implement personalized care
plans in collaboration with residents, families, and the patient
care team/n/t - Administer medications and treatments safely and
accurately/n/t - Observe residents for any medication reactions or
changes in condition and report concerns to the healthcare
provider/n/t - Provide treatments including wound care, IV therapy,
catheter management, and other skilled procedures within scope of
practice/n/t - Supervise and support LPNs and CNAs delegating
appropriately and ensuring residents receive quality care/n/t -
Educate residents and families on medications, treatments, and
managing chronic conditions/n/t - Document care provided, resident
progress, and any health changes in a timely manner/n/t - Respond
quickly to emergencies, delivering critical care and coordinating
with medical teams when needed/n/t - Work closely with physicians,
therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure
coordinated, comprehensive care/n/t - Perform other duties as
assigned within the scope of practice/n/t - Adhere to facility
safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and regulatory
standards/n /n/nRequired Essential Skills:/n/n /n/t - Critical
thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication
skills/n/t - The ability to read, write, & communicate in the
English language is required/n/t - Ability to read/comprehend
written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and proficiency
in PC skills/n/t - Physical Abilities - Remain in a stationary
position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), pushing, pulling,
bending/n/t - Interpersonal Skills - To work effectively with a
variety of personnel (professional and ancillary) to present a
positive attitude and professionalism/n/t - Technical/Motor Skills
- Ability to grasp, fine manipulation, pushing/pulling and able to
move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department
equipment./n/t - Mental Requirements - Must be able to cope with
frequent contact with the general public, customers, and meeting
deadlines under pressure. Must be able to work under close
supervision occasionally as well as working without assistance from
other personnel. Must be able to contend with irregular activity
schedules occasionally and continuous concentration to detail/n/t -
Sensory - Visual acuity, ability to effectively communicate./n /n/n
