TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Philip, South Dakota, 57567 Pay Information $2,362 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Emergency Room Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Nights Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 1 year of ER and Critical Access experience License: Required to submit license for evaluation Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC Must-Have: ER experience, Critical Access Experience, Ability to accept verbal orders Job Description: - Work in a facility providing care for skilled patients requiring therapy, orthopedics, long-term antibiotics, wound care, and pneumonia treatment. - Stabilize and transfer out STEMIs, strokes, and trauma cases. - Handle common drips including Heparin, Ketamine, Diltiazem, Labetolol, Levophed, Potassium, Propofol, TNK, TPA, and TXA. - Collaborate with a designated ER stand-by provider during days and an on-call provider at night. - No charge nurse on nights, emphasize a team effort approach. - Assist with respiratory treatments and manage respiratory equipment including CPAP, BiPAP, and ventilators with the intent to transfer ventilated patients. - Use Phillip monitors for reading and interpreting tele and document it appropriately. - Use X-ray and CT resources within the facility. - Draw blood for labs if phlebotomy is unavailable during IV starts. - Flexible scheduling, may involve weekend and holiday rotations and the possibility to float between ER and MS-Tele. On-call status may be required for low-census situations. - Dress code allows for any color scrubs with closed-toe shoes. - Undergo a one-shift orientation with a preceptor. - Utilize EPIC charting system.
