Job Summary: The Garage Door Technician is primarily responsible for installing overhead doors, customer service, assisting in ordering sales of products, processing paperwork, and inventory management of products. Pay for this role: $16.00 an hour depending on experience. Key Responsibilities: Installation of overhead doors. Removal of existing doors. Installation of door openers. Removal of existing door openers. Installation of door weather-strip. Deliver products and equipment to project sites. Operate lift equipment. Process ordering and billing of products. Desired Skills, Knowledge, and Qualifications: Must have a valid Driver's License. Must have a High School diploma or GED. Ability to analyze technical problems, determine root causes and develop remediation strategies for permanent resolutions. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Desire to learn and grow professionally. Ability to react quickly to problems and respond to them accurately and professionally. Self motivated and organized. Physical strength to lift and carry 50 pounds at times. Perform duties in ALL types of weather conditions. Occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts.
